KNOWING NUTRITION is an introduction to aspects on the nutrition
spectrum that will put one on solid ground, whether self-directed
or through deeper examination provided by a health professional.
KNOWING NUTRITION will incorporate themes that some of us
are familiar with such as basal metabolic rate, the energy
balance equation and scientifically determined recommended
nutrient intakes.
The purpose is not to create a diet; the emphasis is to elevate
one's awareness regarding nutritional fundamentals that are
necessary for optimal functioning of the body, mind and spirit.
