3 words to describe benefits…
Breath - Peace - Confidence

Why would you or wouldn't you recommend these to someone...
I would and strongly recommend it for no other reason that breathing is the most vital life energy.
The benefits of improved breathing from these techniques are felt immediately. Since learning these techniques have found not only a more relaxed state but also more self-confidence.

What have been some everyday applications of these techniques that you've used...
Shortly after starting the training I had a lot of heavy physical labor and running around during a move of departments in our office. Using the attenuation quickly helped recover breathing and found enough energy to complete the tasks at hand.

Candid comments…
The instruction was fully explained and demonstrated making it very easy to learn.
Techniques are simple, easy to follow

PERSONAL TRAINING FOR COUPLES
Where do you see yourself in a year's time...
I want to have a habit of weights, aerobics and flexibility exercises in my day - at least 5 days a week. I want to get back to my 150 lb. Weight and size 12 clothes.

In 3 words describe the experience…
Working with Merlin has been fun, informative, educational and inspiring. I have tried gyms and personal goals alone but having Merlin come each week was a BIG motivator and like taking lessons in any subject, having a lesson each week was great for learning, watching progress and continuing to do exercises correctly. Merlin has an excellent attitude and is a wonderful educator. There is no getting away with anything but he keeps a humorous tone to the proceedings and approaches the time in a very spiritual way. I totally love working with him. Very inspiring on many levels

Candid comments…
This is habit. We need to make sure our cultural attitude in this country is that exercise is a necessity. Support and encouragement needs to be in the press and advertised. I know that finding out that one of my friends is getting in shape is a huge inspiration. Personal training for kids would be wonderful! It appears that the schools are being stripped of their athletic and artistic departments. What are those overweight, pencil-pushing politicians thinking? Why don't they elect people who show us they love to exercise and go to the art gallery or plays or the opera?????????????

Ripple affect...
I notice I am more centered and focused than I have been. I am also calmer - less emotional and better at dealing with crisis. I feel more confident being stronger and know I carry myself more erect and positively. I am definitely more body aware - as I move, sit, stand, work,.

Now and then…
I think I always felt that if you weren't doing weights at an optimum level - religiously every other day - that the benefit would be negligible. However, Merlin's attitude of pairing it down so that 10 min a day will make a difference has shifted my own attitude. Now I get up and do my abs first thing. They don't have to be part of some longer event. Also, running out to the garage to do arms is not that big a deal. If I miss a couple of days I really miss doing it and crave the experience and feeling associated with it.

Make a prediction…
It appears to me that more and more people are aware of the benefits of exercise and eating properly. I do not allow my children to eat at MacDonald's or drink pop at home and I have found that I am not alone in that choice. Adults I know are changing habits to lose weight and exercise. My prediction is that this will increase in popularity as the baby boomers age. People (including me) are sick of traditional medicine's results and diagnosis.

Memorable moments...
Getting up to 130 sit ups. I have never been able to do more than 50

Advice...
One day at a time - just do it!

Definition of health…
I want to feel vibrantly healthy - lots of energy, alert, content, strong, flexible and able to fulfill my potential.
